David Robinson, especially during the Rodman years, was definitely more popular, had national commercials, Nikes. He came pre-Holt & whatever restrictions the Spurs put in place. My dad says the Spurs were on SportsCenter nearly every night during that 2 years. But yeah, Tim was not like that at all, never wanted the spotlight.
