I think he’s being overrated by this sub. We gonna be just fine without him.

I think we’ll be fine. He wasn’t exactly here for super long and we always knew he would either promote here after doc or leave, no way he was staying as an assistant. I’m glad we didn’t go with him tbh, too close to Doc we needed an actual change

I kinda assumed Nurse would wanna bring his own guys in anyways. He’s been an assistant under Doc since 2014

No one will even notice, care or think about Sam Cassell about a week into the season lol. I mean he’s been here 3 years and hasn’t helped them get over the hump so you might as well just have Nurse bring in his own guys

Do we really want a guy who has coached under doc his whole career?
anotherdanwest
It allows Nick Nurse to bring in his own people, for one.

What a joke. How will they ever get over losing a guy who was right there with Doc blowing series lead after series lead with the Sixers and Clippers but let’s keep this narrative that he was great going. The media is really mad that they’ve finally hired a real coach.

Sixers are 12.5% less ugly than they were with Cassell

How many titles did he get us?

I’ll save you time. It will have no impact

Seems like a nice guy, but I would estimate the relationship with Maxey was seen as so critical is because Doc probably didn’t learn Maxeys name until that Denver game
Goobah22
The bench will be slightly better looking

Sad to see a guy go after some time. I wish the best for him, but maybe not his new team lol

I wanted him to work with Springer, but outside guard development I’m not sure what he does.
