I 100% agree! There is no need for him to play in the Classic or Summer League. I do think he should attend and cheer on the guys that do play. It would be great for team building!

If he should play, it should be at The California Classic. There's less chance of injury at the Classic. Unlike, Las Vegas, there's just 2 games total. 7-3 & 7-5. Plus, there's no crazy nightlife, or multiple instances of guys looking to make a name by challenging Wembanyama.
If Wemby is in Summer League, why not 12-15 minutes a game and send Bassey, Sochan, Branham, Wesley and Tre Jones once he is resigned. Even send a veteran or 2.
I don't understand, certainly beacause I'm french, VW always said he was going to play with french team the world cup from August 25 to September 10. French team will play amical games from Juillet 27. French team has a preparation of at least one month for land work. So we already knew that he would not participate in the summer league.
no way jose! dont play him in the summer league. he must be in a controlled environment only NBA games. He must be nurtured, cared for and be put in a body cast until he goes to Spurs training camp.
I agree. I prefer Wemby not play at all. I think he will want to, so maybe he plays one, or two games in Vegas. Can't see the Spurs allowing him to play in Sacramento.
