What about the deal for 10/Bertans/Green/Hardy stated on r/nba? Honestly it seems like an okay deal? We move Scottie back to the 3, keep Pascal and get younger at our guard position. Draft Bilal and Bufkin with 10 and 13. Then use our MLE for a backup PG (Jevon Carter??) of some sort, probably let GTJ go, and waive Thad or send him somewhere for free.
PG: FVV/MLE Guard/Dowtin/Banton
SG: Green/Hardy/Bufkin
SF: Barnes/Bilal/OPJ
PF: Pascal/Precious/Bertans
C: Poeltl/Boucher/Koloko
The bench is young and porbably lacks a leader still but maybe we can stagger Scotties minutes with the bench.
Yeah it’s probably not as good as what we couldve gotten last offseason but we seriously can’t pay everyone (OG/Pascal/Precious) with the addition of Poeltl/FVV’s new contracts.

? Josh Green is a 3 and D player. He shot 40% from 3 last year (not on high volume, but he knocked one down per game) and is known for his defense.
Also OG wasn’t a runner up for DPOY, he wasn’t a finalist and didn’t get a single first place vote. I wouldn’t do this deal but we also need to be objective.

10th overall pick, plus an unprotected future first, plus Josh Green and THJ?
That seems substantially better than 7 and Josh Hart from last year.

I hate how low people are on OG and would much rather just keep him and build with him on the team.
Everyone says oh watch the playoffs/other teams and you’ll be able to fairly value our guys.
I have been catching games here and there and I can say with a lot of certainty that no one brings the same intensity/switchability/ toughness that OG brings. Og can go from guarding Donovan Mitchell one night to Jokic the next and do it effectively. Maybe Bam, but OG doesn’t get valued like Bam
I really hope we just keep OG and he stays underrated and off other teams radars. Man is a gem

OG was 7th in dpoy voting and only got eight points. The steals stat is also overrated.
He’s a good player, but limited offensively and isn’t worth the max or near max that his representation (Klutch) is likely going to ask for.

I hope we don’t trade OG and Trent. Better off paying those two less money and being mid anyways than paying Vanvleet and Siakam and being mid but not mid enough for a top 10 pick.

“I dream like they dream”
Green + Hardy and 10 and I’d think do it tbh
Just lower on OG’s offense than most.
OG wasn’t a DPOY runner up.
