  1. The league will eventually have to bring back hand checking because of him. He may score at will in the NBA because of the poor defense

  2. This will help him get stronger and build muscle in the long run. Overall, although he did say he wanted to play PF, I think playing center on the Spurs next to Jeremy Sochan, given his unique combination of skills, would unleash Victor Wembanyama on a whole new level. Getting stronger would only help him in the long run to be able to do that and get the fullest out of his unique abilities as a 7'4" big.

  3. What impressed me most about Vegas was that it was the first time he played with the Nba rules, different ball, different court, jetlag due to travel, media pressure and behind it he adds by saying that scoot would deserve the first place if he wasn’t born nah this guy loves to be under pressure and releases two crazy games

  4. He plays with very limited spacing, without a lot of movement around him and the LNB might be the most physical league in the world besides the nba, if you have an open path to the rim they'd rather murder you than let you score a wide open lay-up or let you dunk. There's a lot of fouls that would be called technicals in the NBA, a broken nose from an elbow in the face isn't a technical unless there's the intent to hurt someone behind it, if it's a natural motion it's a normal foul. Even swipes down on the arms where the attacker is smashed to the ground aren't called technicals. Victor has been banged up and fouled all season long, and they couldn't stop him when he had it going, even when double teamed late in possessions, he would fade away from either side or step back and make shots without hitting the rim, it's ridiculous sometimes, it doesn't look real. Even Yves Pons (who played for the Grizzlies and always has been a physical and good defender for nba standards) couldn't stop him, there's other french defensive prospects that got smoked by him. The first time he stopped dropping 30 point games early in the season is when he played through the flu, even though his team tried to sit him. He took his team to the LNB finals and there's good chances that he'll beat Monaco who's got the third place in the EuroLeague after they beat the FC Barcelona, who's ranked 2nd… If you compare him to other prospects he's literally the best there is in the world, what more do you want? Only Luka Doncic and Dirk Nowitzki were on his planet at his age when it comes to international prospects.

  5. Clan, what you need to understand is 5-10 years from now, Victor Wembanyama will play center. People keep telling me you don't think he's a center, but if you want Jeremy Sochan at PF, then he needs to play center. Running Jeremy Sochan and Victor Wembanyama as a pair of forwards may limit spacing.

  6. Americans dnt understand how tough the french League is, when you see a yves Pons or kahudi putting their elbows in wemby's rib cage … We dnt have NBA rules ref will let you go with everything

NBA is the creme de la creme i dnt know if he will succed im just telling you that a dame lamelo or luka would have a rough time here

Same thing in soccer when stars come to play here they Say one thing '' france is very physical a lot of africans nasty Defenders ''

  7. Lmao clan trying to understand '' en sah '' πŸ˜‚

Sah is a north African word translate to truth

    En sah = in truth

  8. I wish NBA refs were like french refs i love when basketball is physical

Please americans watch the final you are going to love see french refs dnt give a shit about players trying to argue πŸ˜‚

  9. I'm glad you brought up how much harder it is to score in Europe, per Luka's point. I think it's going to be way different once he gets to the league. Another thing I noticed that you brought up was the gravity he has on the court. Having players like Vassell, Keldon, Doug, and Sochan making cuts would really sync well with his game.
