Unless it’s a Giannis or embiid type player sharpes untouchable imo

  2. Intelligent-Honey476

Will this stop him from being mocked in trades? Probably not.

  3. GuyIncognito211

For the most part he should be unless a superstar is available

Been a fan of London, ON boy Shaedon since highschool, but this timing and valuation reminds me of Scottie Barnes directly after winning ROY.

Raps fans and FO were turning their nose up at having him in KD trade talks…then he has a bit of a plateau in 2nd year and everyone wants to burn the house down

  5. lurking_enthusiast

But is he on the table for a separate deal?

  6. sahand_n9

Anyone who watched the last few games of Blazers this season could tell you this guy is too special to give up.

Best news I’ve heard all day. Now…. what to do with Scoot.

  8. lilpumpgroupie

In other words, he’s available but you better blow our shorts off with any offers

  9. BlazersDozen

Non news lol I think most people assumed Cronin wouldn’t move Shaedon WITH the third pick. This doesn’t say Shaedon is off the table period…just not with the third pick.

The number three pick should be off-limits.

That “League Alerts” is a bit misleading. Go to [the source](https://sports.yahoo.com/nba-draft-with-victor-wembanyama-projected-at-no-1-uncertainty-looms-for-the-rest-of-the-top-10-165028198.html) (emphasis mine):

    >There’s nothing promised about Portland’s future at this juncture, either. But one detail has emerged from early trade conversations around the league: Trail Blazers officials have ***left inquiring teams with the impression*** that Shaedon Sharpe, the No. 7 pick in last year’s draft, is off limits in any dialogue regarding the No. 3 pick.

If he turns out to be a star, right now would be the absolute worst time to trade him.

  13. I don’t trust any report that is displayed in this fashion

  14. MrOrangeWhips

So they will move him or the pick, but not both.

  15. DavidZacharyYT

He’s legitimately a player that if you traded now could end up in a “worst NBA trades of all time” YouTube video in 15-20 years because he could go on to be an MVP level player for years.
