The Flyers organization just keeps getting more and more comical he will just go to another organisation like all Flyers do that are traded and flourish. Same with Carter Hart he'll get traded and flourish with another team

I love, love, love Provy but this had to happen. More for him than for the Flyers. There are a few more guys who will have to be dealt. This Franchise needs to get young, fast and skilled. Did I mention young? I think Carter Hart could bring back quite a lot of assets. Let the Swedish kid backup Petersen. The Flyers have a few over-rated young players. It's time to fish or cut bait. Briere and Jones know what has to happen. It seems to me as though they have the green light to blow this thing up and start over. I have a feeling that Torts will be the key guy making these calls. He has to coach them. This Franchise that I have loved for 50 years has been a frigging doormat for so long. Get it fixed. Keep Clarkie and Homer on the golf course. Enough of the old crap. Make it new and shiny. All I want to see in camp is elbows and assholes. Let these young guys fly around and create havok.

You are forgetting how good Tyson Forester looked last year coming up, and he was an athlete All-stars too..all of a sudden the flyers are very deep again
Explain why Coots and Atkinson, Hayes haven't been moved? If your going to rebuild… rebuild, although bring up their stock by the trade deadline makes sense but not Hayes
Flyers are a long way from being a good club. A long way. At least 3 years.
We don't know in the background, in the locker room, etc. I think Provy wanted out. I don't think Hart wants out, and I KNOW Torts love Hart. I think Hart doesn't go anywhere right away. Petersen was touted as a top goalie prospect, but has really foundered the last few years. They have some decent goalies, but they don't have a top 10 goalie, and the biggest single problem the Flyers have had for years and years… goaltending. Keep Hart until something better comes along.
Helga Brans is 6'4", 205#. He's not offensively talented, but definitely a very good defensive defenseman. Plus the 22nd pick in the packed draft this year, a 2nd next year, and a conditional 2nd in 2 or 3 seasons from Columbus. Plus Petersen and defenseman Sean Walker, who should be a 3rd pair guy, giving the young guys like York, Zamula, maybe Brans, maybe Attard… more ice time to show their stuff.
It's a really great deal. The only piece I don't like is Peterson, but if he can get back to form from a few seasons ago, he could be a talented goalie for the Flyers. Frankly, I think he's more likely to be a Phantom until he shows something.
