Anfernee is a great young player I can see him being an all star. Would be great next to Scottie or even Scottie and pascal

OK, now ask what their record was in that stretch.

Ant is a fine enough player coming off the bench, but $25m AAV is tough to swallow unless we have a lot of productive rookie scale guys.

This seems eerily similar to the Lowry saga where we could’ve gotten Maxey + picks but due to Masai’s greed ended up with just Precious. Let’s not fuck this up again.

Eh. Undersized, easy to target on defense, shoot first guard. There are teams that need that but don’t think it’s the Raptors

A guy like Brunson would be a perfect fit, but how many of that type of guard even exists?

Pull the trigger on what? Are they even talking trade with Portland?

Pull the trigger on what? You have no idea what they would have to trade to get him.

We don’t actually know if he is available. They drafted him, developed him, gave him his first big contract. They have made a lot of shitty trades recently. They could very well have zero interest in trading him. It would be like the Heat trading Herro. Could end up being a massive mistake for them.

And assuming the 3rd pick is Brandon Miller- trading Siakam for him and Simons seems like such a shit deal for us.

Going to be surreal if we get both Simons and Jordi. Both been on my wishlist for a couple of years Unfortunately prob won’t get either haha

trouble is this happens all the time in sports. someone has to score. if you’re ‘the guy’ on a shitty team then you’re going to put up points. not saying the numbers aren’t reflective of skill, but these sorts of stats can be and oftentimes are misleading

    offensive rating: 113

    defensive rating: 123

This year is basically same as career. No need for another guard who won’t defend.

Blazer fan – tbf Ant’s most impressive stretch of basketball was his first stint as starting PG after Dame was shut down the season before last. He dragged that squad to back-to-back road wins against Milwaukee and Memphis before the team had to start making up injuries to get him out the lineup.

It’s really hard to judge him because he plays best as the lead guard and just can’t do that often enough alongside Dame. He’s still really young and if he could improve his defense and be put in the right situation, I could definitely see him making an All-Star team.

This guy is a stud. I really hope raps acquire him

I mean, there are guys who put up numbers on shit teams that don’t lead to winning

we should be doing everything we can to get Sharpe back in a Siakam trade, not Simons.

I’m as much for rebuilding as the next guy, but Simons is not making this team better in the immediate term. Look at the record In those 11 games.
