kawhi is… different. his first 3 seasons in the league were… OK.
then 4th season explodes into DPOY, 5th season 2nd DPOY and all nba 1st.
Its not high at all. We're talking about THE BEST DEFENDER IN THE LEAGUE. Pat was the player who allowed the least amount of points while guarding players in the whole league this last season. The guy is the best defender in the league at 21. And he's the best 3pt shooter in the team too. Plus you gotta consider that the extension would be in effect only in 2026 because his rookie contract has one more year, and with how the cap raises each season, that's not a lot at all. 60 million is 12M a year, what you would pay a Caruso.
Billy Donovan has most definitely gotta utilize Andre Drummond a lot better. We can not have Andre Drummond be here & be getting hella DNPs from Billy Donovan this season. Especially when we all know that the Bulls struggle with rebounds.
I like Drummond ,He learned to be a team player.He excepts his roll.I hope they give him more minutes /The man earned it.
Not playing Drummond enough was the main issue that I had with Billy's coaching. Drummond should be getting no less than 18 minutes a game

Bulls Media loves to sh** on Patrick Williams. Call him Passive P & all that bs, but that's not the issue. In order for Patrick Williams to earn another contract with the Bulls, Billy Donovan has to utilize Patrick Williams way more. And utilize him the right f**king way. Patrick Williams is 5th scoring option for the Bulls when he's in the Starting lineup. Until that actually changes, it is what it is.

Patrick Williams will be 22 next season, still playing on his rookie contract. The question is what kind of player do you see when he is 25 or 3 years into a 5 year contract? Similar in body to an Aaron Gordon currently with less defense but a better shooter. If he is guy that can increase his defensive intensity (similar to Coby) and shoot more 3 pointers… He is the definition of a high level 3&D player and based on his progression he is going that way. How much are those guys getting paid?
