Can new Phoenix Suns coach Frank Vogel salvage Deandre Ayton’s career?

Phoenix Suns head coach Frank Vogel said he’s looking forward to restoring Deandre Ayton’s career. Does that mean DA is staying in the Valley and can Vogel actually do what he said he can?

  1. The miracle worker can't even salvage that quitters' career!! 😂🤣😅😅😅😅😅😅

  2. Frank Vogel is saying all the right things at the presser but this notion that he can coax effort out of Ayton is laughable. The same shtick was discussed when CP3 was brought aboard that he could somehow unlock Ayton and we all know how that turned out. Whether or not Ayton decides to play up to his potential isn't even the overriding issue anymore. The Suns have EIGHT roster spots to fill. They need a major upgrade at virtually every position. CP3 needs to be bought out waived and have his salary stretched over three seasons so the Suns can free up just enough cap space to at least re-sign Landale. The Suns should move Payne for some second round picks or a late first rounder where they can draft a center. The deal that makes the most sense for the Suns if they do nothing else: Ayton to the Hornets for: Rozier, Cody Martin, Mark Williams or Kai Jones and one of the Hornets late first rounders… either the 27th or 34th pick.
