We could really use a high IQ playmaker

  2. DarkJoe272

You know he’s already off to LA, but him on a MLE to teach the guys the game and late game execution would be cool. Also reunite w Blake lol

  3. yoadapt

He’s a Celtic don’t care how unlikely it is

  4. idkuunomebitch

Would be great to have a true facilitator as the PG. We have depth in the role but no facilitators at his level.

  5. Appropriate-Cow8681

Celtics could really use a floor general

  6. DrNickRiviera20

Well, anyone that was advocating for a true ball-handler / PG, here’s one of the greatest…..would only be plausible if he was willing to take bottom dollar…

  7. Kolzig33189

Some borderline playoff team like the Lakers will overpay him….and like usual he will get hurt in the playoffs or just before like every other year.

  8. HS941317

We could really use him but he’s going to the lakers for sure just like 90% of all stars/former stars would

  9. InAingeWeTrust

Sign him and trade Brogdon. Beautiful

  10. Washableaxe

He’s making 16 million this year regardless of what he signs in FA. Would love CP3 at the MLE

  11. thurman_munster

Trade Brogdon into cap space, re-sign Grant, sign CP with the MLE, stay under the tax to avoid the repeater for the Jays’ primes. Do it Brad

  12. spartans2thachoppa

He probably isn’t coming but he would be a perfect fit. Make it happen Brad, plz

  13. He’s my favourite all time player so I’d love to see him on my favourite team. He’s way past his best but his style of play is still exactly what this team needs. Don’t think it’ll happen though. It’ll be the Lakers IMO.

  14. jpaxlux

Definitely won’t happen but he’s a Celtic guaranteed

  15. ThrowingNarwhal87139

I would love to see what mental gymnastics the fan base of this franchise will pull to convince themselves that CP3 wouldn’t be a good pickup.

  16. rveets1416

Cp3 player coach? Joe needs more assistants

  17. BeachBlueWhale

I would love the Celtics to get him. Wouldn’t need to play him much but his leadership would go a long way with this group.

  18. andoCalrissiano

if Chris wants a ring we can offer him the Blake Griffin 40 games played workload so he can be healthy in the playoffs.

  19. DrewCola

Would need to manage his games and minutes like Brogdon and hope he makes it to the playoffs but gladly take him and move one of the guards (prob Brogdon)

  20. CommunityGlittering2

I can go back to liking the Suns again

  21. CommunityGlittering2

Celtics already are pretty unlikeable, Chris would make them impossible to root for.

  22. AlbertoRossonero

We should push hard to sign him. Had we had even the late career CP3 I feel we would have won a title by now.

  23. SylvesterLundgren

Shit dude this might be perfect for us. Literally just give him 20min a game, 50 games in the season, have him good for playoffs. Blake’s here too….

  24. JaylenBrownAllStar

Dude is a laker; he ain’t coming here

  25. I_Set_3_Alarms

Low key get him. Trade Brogdon for quality big. CP3 for 6 man lol

  26. a1mrbhelpuri

Was wondering how long it’d take to get this post in here haha

  27. i’ve always regretted us getting score first guards like kyrie and kemba next to the jays when cp3 fits better and has been available multiple times in the past few years. even washed cp3 would be an asset as a floor general.

  28. TurboThot69

NO. He will become essential, and then get hurt.

  29. SoCleanSoDelicious

Perpetual LOSER! Bring in a veteran that has won something.

  30. DeeringTornados34

Sign him to a two year deal with an option to get out after one year. Restrict his minutes. Maybe this will avoid him getting injured.

  31. Koolkurt

You know that Michael Scott meme where Toby comes back and he keeps saying no.

    That

LA and Boston are practically in the same situation. They can only offer him bottom dollar. That being said, if I’m CP, Boston makes the most sense if he actually wants to go for that ring. They’re much younger, a more complete roster while LA has a lot more questions. LeBron after foot surgery, AD is always a question mark, and the core of Reeves, Hachimura, Walker is sort of a rebuild.
