If both are there, I’d like Jarace, but if we went Hendricks, I wouldn’t mind either. Honestly, I think spots 4-10 are very similar talents, and it’s as much about need as best player available.

I honestly think pure talent wise both are very similar but Hendricks is a better long term fit so I’d want to go with him.

Think I’m coming down firmly on Hendricks lately, assuming Whitmore is gone.
IMO Benn is gonna have a much improved handle + show more flashes of playmaking this year. Hendricks will have time to develop the handle while contributing immediately in the 3&D role and adding his versatility.
Mixed units during regular season that are like Nemb, Nesmith, Oshae, Taylor, IJax are gonna be so much fun.

I love this time of year because I always pretend to know the whole picture, when at best I can only know so little even if properly trained, dedicated, with so much time invested
In my mind in order
1Ausur
2 Whitmore
3. Walker
4. Hendricks
In my mind, all signs point towards Walker being the actual pick.
With that said
Everyone had the Mavs taking at minimum Dennis Smith (which they did). Mavs fans were super stoked because he was in discussion for a top 5 pick and hoped everything would fall their way.
However, Carlisle pounded the table to get a guy who was mocked anywhere as many as 9 spots lower in Donovan Mitchell.
I think Carlisle has vastly more pull here than he did in Dallas
I would not be shocked and would be welcomed if it’s someone lower on this list, or someone not even on this list.
All these guys have some exciting tools, and I don’t know if I’ve seen such an array of unique and different skillsets this far down in a long time
