[Madison] Based on my conversations with people with the team, there are times when they feel very fed up with Zion. Not enough to necessarily want to trade him away, but it’s in their minds in some capacity. They’ve worked through some trade scenarios or what the return for him would be.

Starting 11 minutes into [Locked On Pelicans](https://youtu.be/QHzHK8fRJjc) with Pelicans insider, credentialed member of the media Jake Madison.

> Based on my conversations with people with the team, there are times when they feel very fed up with Zion. Not enough to necessarily want to trade Zion Williamson away or actively start to do that. Again, they’re really trying to appease him with a big deal shake up or the training staff, but it’s in their minds in some capacity. And you know, they’ve worked through some trade scenarios or what the return for him would be.

> We’ve heard some rumors of does he want to be here or not. He said all of the right things. Actions have been a little bit different at times. He doesn’t really spend a lot of time around the team in the offseason doing offseason workouts. He doesn’t necessarily need to, but you’d certainly like it.

> I think the Pelicans absolutely love Scoot Henderson, really think Scoot is going to be a star and would also like to be in the Scoot business.

This man is like a real life Hedonism bot with an Adonis body and Vince Carter dunk package. Glorious

  2. BrutallyHonesttho

Woah, give him a chance. He was and is still pregnant.

  3. Zion to Portland would be hilarious.

A lot of hype, Zion gets injured, and then 65 games later they shut down Dame again to tank for a high draft pick.

  4. I_Set_3_Alarms

Zion to Portland could be interesting.

Hell maybe send CJ back with him lol

  5. Few_Mulberry5372

2019 draft class is cursed thats tough

  6. Trade him to Houston, he’d be great with Harden

  7. Funny-Transition7869

Is there a new fear that the guy you draft just wont care? Wiggins, Simmons, Ayton, Zion. Seems like a real risk now

“We’re not thinking about it, but we’re thinking about it.”

Based on my conversations with the pornstar gf. Zion wants to trade the baby momma

  10. He needs to go to Utah tbh, best place for him.

  11. Folk-Herro

Dude probably thought announcing his baby would be harmless, 48-72 hours later has proven this man to be wrong

I think Zion is just shy or socially-awkward. You can see it in his interviews. He obviously didn’t develop at the same rate physically or mentally as other kids when he was growing up so he probably isn’t good at relating to other people.

They need to send him to Miami let Par Reilly Heat culture him

What do you even do with Zion lol. Poor pelicans GM. Is a lose lose situation. Either you keep him knowing people don’t like him in locker room or lose him for almost nothing.

  15. Snowden42

The *funniest* outcome here is that Zion goes to Portland and has zero injury issues.

But, as a long-traumatized Blazers fan, I want absolutely nothing to do with this guy.

  16. halfdecenttakes

So what you are saying is the Pelicans are kind of sick of Zion spitting in their mouth?

  17. Jameszhang73

Everyone is just fed up with Zion now… especially after he let his teammates drink his spit-filled Gatorade

  18. indreams159

he doesn’t have any trade value. no one wants to pay for a slob who doesn’t even play and also makes horrible decisions in his free time.

  19. jumboponcho

They would’ve given me a 50m a year contract at 22, I might’ve tried to save Gianna Michaels so I ain’t all the way mad at him. The Snapchat msgs were the funniest part to me, he definitely says “it’s a pleasure to meet you this evening” to the hoes lol

  20. logontoreddit

Well of course he ain’t around the team much. Man is on mission of shooting in as many low grade 304s as possible.

  21. OguguasVeryOwn

Zion is basically untradeable. To another team he’s not worth the risk of giving up major assets, and for the Pelicans it’s not worth taking pennies on the dollar if there’s a chance he can get his shit together.

I think the only way they’d trade him is if there was a Ja-type situation to give cover/an excuse if he blew up somewhere else.

  22. Fugglytv

Sounds like the team is getting tired of Zion’s attitude. Maybe he needs to start playing better if he wants to stick around.

  23. boomeroni1234

People forget about this stuff the second he’s on the floor. Imo he’s worth it until it’s abundantly clear he can’t play

  24. OooofPoof

Pels fan here and I’m all for it. Let’s do it before it’s too late and Zion has to sit out another 36 games and his price drops. FLOCK BABY

  25. meekspuff

Good for the Pelicans. Don’t let, Mr Williamson get his way and spit down your throats all the time

  26. I can’t believe they got away with saying “fed up with Zion”. If there is one thing he certainly is…

  27. Rare-Profile6867

Pelicans have to move on from Zion. Unlike Ja, he’s just one of those guys that will never be able to play a full season. Zion needs a change and an Organization that will kick his ass like Miami.

You guys laugh about what the Miami culture would do to him but between Pat and Spo I think they could change his career. It’s a shame the dude is so talented but he won the lottery and can chill the rest of his life
