Maybe I’m crazy but weren’t we already struggling with getting Hardy good minutes last year? I don’t see how drafting another guard is the solution.
I do like him more than Gradey Dick, but I still don’t think keeping the pick is the smart move. Trading down and going after guys in the Lively/Coulibaly/Sensabaugh range excite me more
Black is a good pesky defender who would be a good guy to have to chase guys like Curry and Murray around screens. His playmaking ability might instill more ball movement within our offense. and if he can develop a decent jump shot hes perfect for us cause Tim is probably getting traded.

For those people saying trade the pick even if black is available, that tells me they haven’t seen a full Arkansas game. Why would you trade down when you have a player like Black? Very high bbq, great passer, athletic, excellent defender, can guard 1-3, and will fit very well on any team. Flat out baller. Shot needs work but his mechanics aren’t broken. That shot will improve. I don’t care that we have Hardy and JG causes he’s better than both imo. Dream scenario if he’s still there.
On thing to consider is the Nuggets blueprint… non standard lineup… Luka is the point like Joker. Got to hide both on defense. Luka should guard a poor shooting 3 or 4. Kyrie and Murray are both really 2s. We all know we need a center and I dare say that really we need our Aaron Gordon. If Hendricks did not fall to us. We could look at Wallace, Black, Coulbili as our Bruce brown and they would be there to play D against PG or SGs.
