You have to play Jokic to always have your body on the paint side and make him shoot from the baselines. He wants to get the straight angle to use his touch off the rim. 👀👊🏾
It annoys me how defenders like Bam will jump at the 3pt shooter barely to get a hand in the face and a potential foul. Instead, just jump like your defending the rim. Blocking the ball a foot or so from the shooters hands is easier and can adjust shots. A hand in the face of a good shooter is useless. Already aimed and fired.

Spo has done that as his main game plan for years. It’s also what got Robinson benched after getting a big contract.
All the Heat role players get their shots mainly when the ball is moving or the clock in running out.

Surely if Bam comes that high up in the PnR, Murray will just pass out of it as Jokic rolls and the receiver will lob it to the basket for Jokic. No one else on the Heat stopping Jokic there, and Bam isn't getting back in time.
So Spo relies on an easy to shutdown system with occasional shot makers? It’s absolutely what kills me as a Heat fan watching our games. Early, after every lead or comeback, and then towards the end it’s Wade/James/Butler/Herro do whatever you want (usually a forced step back or moving 3 from the Elbow).

The nuggets made a big mistake signing MPJ to a 5 year contract. Nothing but a liability. Coach was smart not to play him last 2 games
Never thought i see the day in the finals you can win and dominate the game and only make 5 three's. Is old school ball back? Nuggets shooters could not hit the 3 again so Malon brought in the slashers (Broun) in and that was the turning point of the game. No 3's hard to the hoop. A Fast change from Malon.

When the game was down 7 with Denver starts in and heat bench was a winnable game for Miami the starters should have been reinserted that was a missed opportunity.

I see Dynasty in this team. They will take this season. Jokic and Murray can play at this level for at least 3-4 more seasons before they start slowly declining. Developing Christian Braun within those years is where this team is going to be unstoppable. Unbiased opinion. Spurs fan here
