New Wizards leadership to Ted: “What we’re missing most is an identity”.

* Ted said in the post press conference interview that Winger & Dawkins impressed upon him that as an organization, “What we’re missing most is an identity”.

* Hughes asks what are the guiding principles and winning traits are they are going to look for in players. Dawkins essentially mentions character by saying it’s more about the person than the player and that you have to bring in the right people that are about the right things, then ultimately says:

>We’ll find out what a “Wizard player” is, then we’ll go out and get those players.

So to the fans – **what is a “Wizard player” to you?**

Kispert said the exact same thing at the end of the season in terms of needing an identity. Feel like the front office is going to look for guys like him in the future. Guys that can star in their role and buy into a team first approach.

Still gonna need to hit on some draft picks/signings to get 1-2 top 30 player if we’re trying to win a championship though

Oh, so he does know. Better late than never I guess.

  3. Actually what we are missing most is great players.

A Wizards player to me is a guy with limited upside who is good enough to put on the floor but not good enough to make them a contender. And occasionally just on the floor but not good enough to be on the floor.
