No role models for these kids. Damian Lillard talked about it in JJ’s podcast a few months ago. They are literally handed everything and have to earn nothing. For example, Ja didn’t have vets around to tutor or mentor him, so the level of entitlement in players is at an all time high. It’s not a surprise they continue the same behaviors. Even Barkley talked about Moses taking him under his wing and helping him lose weight. His career would not have been the same without it. That’s why a team needs a guy like GT or Haslem. Yes, they may be aging and can’t play to expectations but they are there to keep the young guys in check.

Sorry but I can’t imagine this is not the case with a bunch of players and they just handle it better, and there isn’t a vested interest in getting those players traded out of New Orleans.
