Why wouldn’t he be? He just won 6th man of the year.

I’m not sure how I feel about some of these options but I do think Brad will at least look at Brogdon trades. He’s making a ton of money and is probably the most replaceable of our three guards.

OG Anunoby is incredibly unlikely, especially if Toronto thinks he’s worth a superstar package. Also not sure blowing our load on OG is that worth it, respectfully to him.

Hayward I do like, but he’s an expiring as well. Wouldn’t be super opposed to a reunion.

Olynyk? Nah, unless Utah throws in draft capital.

Same with Tim Hardaway Jr., I’d like draft capital on top of it.

Those are some of the names this article suggested. I think possibly teams such as the Wizards, Rockets, Timberwolves, and Pelicans may possibly be interested as well.

If a Brogdon trade occurs, which I’m not opposed to, the team would need to acquire a playoff rotation caliber guard.

I don’t WANT to get rid of Malcom.

He is really good in his role for us and it sucks he got that freak injury at the worst time of the season.

But I also get it cap space wise, but we better get something that actually helps us because that would be a loss

Next year, unfortunately, just because of new CBA and JB supermax with JT supermax lurking, DWhite and probably Smart too would be in the offseason plans.

That’s just the inescapable situation Celtics find themselves in now because of the new CBA.

Don’t do it. I have a feeling he gonna be traded for cap space, some high pick and a decent player that will be buried under mazulla system. And then a rival team like bucks and heat gonna acquire him, they will meet the celtics in semi or final and he’s gonna cook us hard

I say no. I would let Joe go before considering trading any of our good players.

This is so stupid and mainly coming from the media and clueless fans. Thank Zeus Brad and Mike Zarren aren’t stupid.

Like, all respect to these beat writers but are we REALLY taking their thoughts and perspectives over that of Brad Stevens OR their CBA knowledge over Mike Zarren? Come on.

If there is a deal made, Brad and Mike will be certain to make it additive. Dealing Brogy is NOT additive. A championship contender EATS the tax.

This useless and ill-informed handwringing by armchair experts with a 1/100,000,000 of Zarren’s knowledge on a CBA that isn’t even FINALIZED yet is utter rubbish.

I had to stop reading when the writer used the phrase “positional duplication”. Is this how people write now?

I honestly wouldn’t mind trading him for a 3 and D guy to back up Tatum and Brown
