This day in Lakers history: June 10, 2001 – Maybe the most underrated clutch shot of Horry’s career, as his late 3–12 points in the period–helps seal a critical Game 3 win over the 76ers

Horry was incredible. So glad we had him. He has 7 rings for a reason.

He should be in the hall of fame. It’s a joke he isn’t.

I love Horry so damn much.

Im still SALTY AS FUCK that Dr. Buss let Horry walk so he could sign that shitbag Karl Malone.

    FUCK.

    Such a monumental fuckup.

I remember EVERYONE in LA talking about that with such a sadness when it happened. Horry was universally loved in the city of angels and had a citywide reputation of being a stellar and kind person to all.

It really felt like the end of an era (which it turned out to be)

Fucking Buss just couldnt leave well enough alone with the 3peat squad and name chased. Unreal.

All these years later, I still think:

HOW IN THE FOOK DO YOU SAG OFF OF HORRY?

    LMAO

Horry didn’t care if he scored. Just one of those rare players that willed his shots in when his team needed him most. Never been a better team-first player.
