You will hate the year grinding out a rebuild, I find it funny that we only give this team 2 years and we are ready to dump it all. Remember only 2 years! Let them grow, make tweaks and keep growing. This fan base after the championship has become Impatient and very spoiled!!
Darko is a good pick-up. The Grizzlies were very successful with and without Ja Morant playing.
Very good take. Give the bench playing time to develop. Develop talents.
Rebuild is the way to go. Get those picks for a fresh start.

A coach can only do so much. Until Siakam is traded, this team aint doin ish!! I mean Nurse was a shooting Guru and that didn't translate at all smh. That being said, a frontcourt of Pascal, Scottie and Yak will never work and if we lose our two best shooters it will be even worse. Im rooting for this new Coach but until Pascal is gone i dont see much changing.

I was surprised at their record. I thought the would have been the #4 seed. But with this hiring, I think you will see trades coming quickly and they will rebuild.
Darko will make the siakam/barnes pairing great and OG/trent will get their touches to become consistent 55/39 and 50/39…. Esp if poeltl returns.
Darko just needs to keep a good O-D balance.

How will he compare to a guy like Jerry Stackhouse? It seems they have similar abilities when it comes to player development, but Stackhouse had the connection both with the franchise, and with a lot of the Raptor players. Any idea why the Raptors didn't go his way?

No reason why Nick Nurse couldn't focus on player development if that became his mandate. Bad move from the standpoint of us already having a phenomenal coach. Not to mention, we'll be picking up the tab for Nurse's salary next year.
