With a little more than a week to go before the NBA Draft, it’s time to start looking at where some of the industry is landing with the Brooklyn Nets picks. Taking a look at a number of industry opinions, Doug Norrie filters out some of the noise to see that Jett Howard and GG Jackson are the two most popular names when it comes to the Nets draft picks.
What does this mean for the team, and even if it isn’t these two, do Howard and Jackson represent the different kinds of players the Nets should be looking at considering they have two picks in the draft? It’s an interesting spot to be in for the team with the ability to maybe play it safe with one pick and swing for some upside with the other.

GG is a great fit but Horward to me is a low ceiling pick not the type of high upside pick the Nets should focus on.
If Brooklyn pivots from Damian Lillard, Dejounte Murray would be a great plan B for Brooklyn. He's an athletic lengthy scorer with some defensive grit who fits the timeline with Mikal Bridges Cam Johnson and Nic Claxton.
Atlanta wants to get out of the luxury tax and Murray is on a one year expiring contract which allows Brooklyn to get some contracts off the books and acquire a scorer who fits the Brooklyn culture.
I like Bobi Klintman as a development project. Has size and is skilled.
Another side possible trade is Patty Mills to the Mavs for Javale Magee and a second round draft pick. Given Mills value has been shrinking this would be a great deal for Brooklyn. They acquire a backup center with championship experience who can help serve as a mentor to Claxton and Sharpe. And another second round draft pick gets added to Brooklyn's collection of assets…
