Bruce has obviously been fantastic for us this year for incredible value, and keeping him around seems nigh on impossible. Yet, I just feel super happy for the guy and think the path he set of ‘go to Nuggets, buy into the team and show your worth to increase value’ is a really positive pathway for free agents looking to earn their stripes with us.
Does anyone have any other role players they’d expect to look to the Nuggets and follow suit.

Best pickup in the off season league wide. Will be sad to see him go but obviously happy about the guy getting paid.
He earned it i just wish it was with us. Side note really hoping we can get a ring for some of our journey men vets
I will miss him, and I want him to get spectacularly overpaid. Both because he deserves it and because it will make it easier for me to deal with the fact we lost him.
Max we can offer him next season is apparently $8M and we could give him a 2nd year option at $13.5M. If he somehow went somewhere for like 2 for $30M or 3 for $40M I would feel like he got lowballed, the other team got a steal, and we lost a this guy by just a few million dollars annually.
But if he gets something like 4 for $100 from the spurs then I would feel much better Bruce got his bag and we were never close to keeping him.
He is an integral part in this championship run, I hope he comes back for one more year. Yet, he truly deserves his bag 💰

Does anyone think this guy can be a legit all-star / 2nd or 3rd option on a contender? Might be Jokic and the motion offense elevating this guy, but I do not think he has holes in his game. Great shooter, floater, finisher, handles and defense

I’m going to miss seeing him shimmy in a Nuggets uniform and hoping he shimmies when he signs his fat contract, and will be happy when he shimmies in another uniform, except when he plays the Nuggets. May he never shimmy against the Nuggets.
I’m curious where people want to see him land?
I think him starting next to Dame in Portland, with Grant, and whatever frontcourt they get from pick #3 and Simons would be fun to watch.
He should get his bag then return after that contract ends
