Denver has been playing the long game much better than we have, but I think we’re perhaps just a year or two out. Dame should be able to continue at his level for another 6 years, based on his play style. He’s not Jokic, but he just needs the right cast and Cronin is doing a decent job managing our assets. He’s proven that he can leverage good trades, so I expect him to use our resources well this offseason.
We have a good number of quality picks as well as good active trade assets. The #3 pick, the #23, and Anfernee are all very valuable. I think there’s a team that could use a Keon off the bench as well, to help us out with something.
Keon + the 23rd to maybe upgrade us on the bench somehow? Would love to get a secondary playmaker that can pass that thang and set the bench up to maintain production.
