I'd do that trade for Brandon Ingram. Zion, HELL NO! Zion gives me Oden vibes too much and you really can't go ALL IN on a player that has likely a 30-40% chance to even really play due to injuries. If you do Zion trade its basically praying he is healthy for one year and all our pieces come together and we win a championship. Simular to Kawhi Leonard and Raptors before it all falls apart again.

I don't get the Ingram obsession. Maybe the same level as Siakam but he's not on the same level as Brown. The Blazers would score a ton but he does nothing to address defense, especially at the point of attack.

As a Pels fan I wouldn't mind them blowing it up. Zion to Charlotte for #2 and BI to Portland for #3. BI probably leaves the Pels in 2 years anyway so might as well get something before it's too late.
So trading the 3rd overall pick for Brandon Ingram is the answer. So we're becoming the pelicans now. Again no defense which makes us have to mabe tank again. Sorry but if we trade this pick for a mediocre talent or a b level all star i can't forgive this blunder. I'm ready for the future with or without dame. It would be a travesty to watch generational talent slip out of our grasp for pick and roll iso ball again. Im done with that style of offense already. Im ready for something new.
Don't trade the pick unless there is an overwhelming deal on the table. This team needs a lot of talent on inexpensive contracts. Trading picks and young assets for a player(s) that won't make a difference in terms of being a legit contender even if it is an all-star, is short sighted. What player could the Blazers realistically get that would really make a difference?
