You definitely trade IQ if you are getting a couple of good future picks.. No brainer
The Knicks screwed this up they drafted Quickley to play the point but the stubborn coach refused to play him now the Knicks have to many players competing at the same position. The coach is the issue because he can only coach certain players which is absurd.
1. height alone, doesn't matter that much, you need to look at wingspans and athleticism and IQ. IQ with his wingspan has no problem defending 6'6, 6'7 SGs. 2. Brunson and IQ can play together and it can be a championship set up BUT we need a ton of improvement from our forwards like in getting someone like Giannis that sort of impact. And this brings me to point #3. IQ might be more valuable as a trading piece if it means we are getting a superstar. IQ can be on-ball guard and it's more valuable to teams, maybe he can provide us more value as a trading piece vs. as a player who will eat our cap space making it impossible to sign any stars in 2024.
Quickly ain't all that, stop the hype
