    I met Jama a few times. We both started from the bottom – that's for sure! Back in the Chris Bosh era at its peak (07'/08'), he (Jama) was just getting started as an assistant. I was part of the Raptors front office (sales team) trying to get businesses to buy tickets to fill the Air Canada Center and pick up the pieces when VC left. For these that don't know, "cold calling" is a bitch, but there's no reward without work. Congrats to Jama – well deserved…

    Nurse was a decent assistant who benefited from being given the reins of a Team that was on the verge of greatness. He isn’t a good head coach and never will be. Fred is an undersized two who has no idea how to run an offence and let’s his ego get in the way. Toronto is better off without them period !!!

    I share your enthusiasm. When I saw the announcement early this afternoon I thought it was fake news. It sure was a pleasant surprise to confirm it was in fact true.

    Hopefully all works out for the Raptors but to me I am not thrilled because it indicates to me that Darko is not considered savvy enough to choose his own assistants. I much would have rathered the Raptors gone and offered Sam Cassell the HC before the Celtics scooped him or someone like Kenny Atkinson . But as i said hopefully it works out .

    When I tell you we have a real organization, we have a REAL organization. We actually think things through and choose the best candidates based on factors that actually matter. Detroit went out and gave a bag to Monty Williams. The same Monty Williams with two coach of the year awards and NO championship experience. Ask Dwayne Casey, that award don’t mean shit. These other organizations hope and pray the decisions they make will work out. Even when we don’t win, we eliminate the possibility of failure in every choice we make.

    It feels like we're finally back now with our development as both of Darko and Jama together is a match made in heaven. Now if we can get Brittni Donaldson away from Detroit and get her back with the 905, we really good now. I'm so hyped with the draft next week, we already won the offseason before it started!

    Earl Watson is still on as raptors assistant he ain’t going nowhere. Jama, Earl and Darko boy it feels good. We should add Steve Nash as assistant to help develop our shooting. I want us to trade for Gary Payton ll he can teach our guy how to play pressure defence.

    I think it’s becoming more clear to me that everyone fucking hated Nick nurse and did not want to work under him, he was clearly a good coach if you had the right team already together but with anything else he was the wrong guy for the job and was clearly an issue that should’ve been addressed earlier
