Hey guys, these final series against Monaco showed good insight on Wemby, Monaco has 7 NBA players on their roster, played in Euroleague’s final four, so it’s one of the best teams in Europe.
First game, Wemby got doubled and even trippled teamed, whole Metropilitans team seemed lost, got blown out, Wemby only scored 8 points
Second game, coach Colled fixed up the spacing, gave the ball to Wemby, good spacing, Victor can easily destribute the ball due to his size, 19 points, incredible agressivenes.
Third game, I watched only highlights, didn’t have time to watch it live but reading up some comments and watching his stats, his teammates (some are same age as Viktor) had a bad night shooting the ball, running theme in these series, young team simply imploded against a more experienced Monaco side.
Anyways, glad that Viktor choose not to play in the summer league, who cares about that, straight to the FIBA World Cup we go, it will be very exciting seeing Viktor alongside Gobert, they should be playing together, at the same time, as Collet likes having 2 centers on the court in some occasions.
