  1. Actually it is nearly impossible for any future champion to play a higher combined number of seeds than Denver did this year. The highest possible number is 8+5+7+8 = 28, which would have been possible if Denver played the Clippers instead of Phoenix. Considering how the Lakers were viewed prior to the conference finals, the only anomaly Denver had to face was Miami in the finals.

  2. It’s not Denver’s fault the other high seeds couldn’t take care of business

  3. Whoever think Jokic have bland or boring personality clearly never Saw his interviews. jokic is one of the genuine funny personality in the NBA today, i remember 4 years ago when he was trending in the bubble there are dozens 10 minutes videos of him being funny during games and interviews, and that's was 4 years ago, since there are lost more moments of him being funny, charismatic and memorable.

  4. They just can't help themselves regarding the Jokic and Nuggets disrespect. It really is so ridiculous now. They just got to find something negative to say to try and discredit Jokic and the Nuggets

He's dropped 8 triple doubles in his last 14 games and he dropped 53 11 4, 41 4 11, and 39 5 16 in three of six of those remaining games he didn't drop a triple double in

Second highest individual score in single game in these playoffs with 53

Just a handful of the records he's broken or set in the postseason

Jokic becomes FIRST EVER player with 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists in the NBA Finals

Nikola Jokic's 14 assists are also the most by a center in Finals history.

The previous high was Bill Russell's 13 assists on 4/25/1969

Only three players have scored a 30 point, 20 rebounds, 10 assists game in the history of playoffs. Wilt has done it once, Kareem has done it once, and Jokic has done it three times

Nikola Jokić First Player in NBA History to Record 25+ pts, 15+ reb, and 15+ assists in Playoff game with his 30 17 17

He's #3 for most triple doubles in playoff history but look at how few games he's done in it in compared to everyone else.

    16 in 68 games

    1. Magic Johnson 30 190

    2. LeBron James 28 282

    3. Nikola Jokic 16 68

    4. Russell Westbrook 12 116

    5. Jason Kidd 11 158

    6. Larry Bird 10 164 Draymond Green 10 156/Rajon Rondo 10 134

    9. Wilt Chamberlain 9 160

    10. Oscar Robertson 8 86

Jokic is now the player with most triple-doubles in a single postseason (10) breaking Wilt Chamberlain's 56 year record of 7 by 3. Why are't they talking more about this? He's absolutely smashed a legend's 56 year old record by 3 triple doubles not 1 or 2.

He dropped 6 triple doubles in 48 playoff games prior to these playoffs so he wouldn't have even been ranked in the top 10. Now he's shot up to #3 with 16 of them. He's dropped more triple doubles in these playoffs alone in just 20 games than Oscar Robertson and Wilt did in their entire playoff careers in 86 and 160 games respectively.

And he's #4 on the all time triple double table

The Nuggets lead the Western Conference since December and they only lost 4 games in the entire postseason disposing of these teams and players along the way

Jamal Murray was on fire and breaking records himself too

    Timberwolves 4-1

    Suns 4-2

    Lakers 4-0

    Heat 4-1

    Anthony Edwards

    Durant and Booker

    Lebron and AD

    Jimmy Butler and Adebayo

Who did the teams that the Nuggets beat along the way beat to progress through to the next rounds?

  5. Keyshawn has no basketball credibility lmao. Sitting there pouting like a 5 year old the nuggets won

  6. All these jokic fans i guarantee you his jersey isn't top 10 in sales this season. Nobody wants a none athletic guy to win because he can't be the face of the league

  7. The West was even better than last year, how was it a mess? This guy will always say that the West is a mess unless the Warriors/Lakers don't win it.

  8. Winning a championship is hard in professional sports. So many things have to go right in order to win, health being the main component along with retaining talent. Salary caps are designed to foster parity around leagues and the NBA is just now coming around to the idea. I can see the Nuggets running it back next year but anything can happen. They'll be very good as long as Jokic is there but I don't see a dynasty in the making. I'll be tuning in to watch them play regardless even though I'm a Spurs fan. Jokic's personality reminds me a lot of Tim Duncan, the quiet assassin. I respect his game a lot!

  9. Lmfao key wants them to dunk like AG or Murray or Green or Braun or Porter oh yea they're in the team

  10. J THE NUGGETS WHERE THE FAV!Stop always trying to twist stuff. The NUGGETS where better. Its not that hard bruh.

  11. JJ Redick was saying the other day that the Nuggets played against teams that combined for 20somthing NBA all defence and 30something all star appearances. Both of those stats are playoff records. The best part is that they swept Teen Vogue's pick, the Lakers.

  12. Warriors won it the west was a mess now same with the nuggets well if ain't the lakers the west would always be a mess

  13. All his years playing in the NBA really put Keyshawn Johnson in a unique place to comment on the NBA Champs!!…🙄

  14. Keyshawn is the worse of them all please quit giving him basketball takes dude is straight spewing garbage

  15. The whole conference was messy of you ask me. Definitely could of done a better script this year without all the extra hassle forreal.

  16. @Espn, you paying them money? To tell people , nuggets played the lowest teams ? Tell us smthg we didnt know. Tell us how a stat padding guy won chip ?

  17. Will Denver finally get some nice, simple jerseys. Jerseys with style?! Some authentic basketball old school jerseys, because the previous ones seem to have been made for a circus show and are not worthy of a serious club.
