It’s long been a speculation with Lionel Messi but it does make sense that a sport can be an autistic persons special interest and thus, “in the gym working his ass off” is actually just them doing the only thing they want to do
Damn, that’s pretty cool. My son has autism and I appreciate more stories like this coming out. I’ve never felt any stigma toward him and I hope he doesn’t in himself either. I know not everyone with autism will be able to accomplish feats like these but it helps us not try to box people with autism in so readily
