Many of the players that are (allegedly) available, arguably would result in worse issues than those present if he stayed. Stay patient for a player that actually changes the team's fortunes and focus on developing the roster.

To be fair. Your proposal doesn't make sense. They made playoffs with the current team. And you trade 2nd best player to get better as a team?
They're probably gonna run it back again in 2023-24, which frankly is the right thing to do given they ranked as a top 5 NBA team from January 2023 onward (top 3 post-Hart trade). What every Knick "fan" and analyst ignores is the new CBA and the fact Randle makes pennies relative to other players out there. None of the stars on the market are even as good as Randle or take the Knicks to the next level. Trading Randle only makes sense for an upgrade that extends the Knicks' window like Zion, NOT players like the bloated contracted, often injured losers known as Zach Lavine, Bradley Beal, and KAT.
