If he is willing to sign an extension I am hear for it

Would love it but I know Raptors gonna try to finesse us out of picks I think we can’t afford to trade away

Forgot to comment .. dejounte could potentially be in that deal , maybe a third team as well so brace yourself for that .. would hope not tho .. that 3 on paper is nice

Make it happen. If we could keep Trae and DJ, everybody else is expendable. If DJ has to go then we better hold on to our draft pick at least

I’d like to get him, but “on our radar” is pretty far from “actively seeking a trade for” imo.

I’d assume DJM is gone if we get a legit star, it’s not like we’ve got a ton of draft capital to trade

Honestly I love this idea. Siakam one of those guys who just kills us every time we face him, which makes me feel like he’s the type of player we’re missing.

Side note – Analytics say he’s a good player, but his defensive metrics are really bad. For whatever reason I feel like he can be better than his abysmal -1.7 D-Raptor. He’s got the size, length, and athleticism for it.

He appears to be getting better offensively and has been sacrificing defense to do so. That makes me optimistic he could turn that part of his game back on

Murray and collins and picks should work but I don’t see ujiri talking that bad contract.

I love the term “on their radar”, because it makes me think that Pascal is a fighter pilot from a foreign power ready to take out an airstrip. Or that he’s a storm that meteorologist are ready to issue a severe thunderstorm warning on.

Thoughts? Yes, I would like to have Pascal Siakam. Can I have that? Idk.

Siakam is a good All-Star level player but only has one year left on deal before he would be seeking another max for five years until he was 34. All-around offensive game but has been below average on threes for three seasons. Defense is somewhere from average to below average at forward. Not worth trading young players on rookie contracts plus picks. If Raptors would do it for Hunter and Collins/Capela and one protected first, then might be worth it for a one year trial run.

    Trae, Murray, Hunter, Pascal, Onyeka

    Is a nice starting 5

Please NO!!!! Ilive in Canada and watch Alot of Raos games. This guy is a fake All star. It would be a HUGE mistake trading a bunch for him. Big cost to get him and his max contract demands after this season. No Thanks. Mediocre shooter, limited bag, average rebounder, overrated defence and inefficient for his position. He gets #’s playing big mins, with big usage alot of the time against backups. Terrible fit with Trae. Not to mention worst clutch stats in ENTIRE NBA. YUCK.

isnt he a worse shooter than collins?

  14. N3phewJemima

Yes please. Have been saying I’ve wanted him for years.

Depends what they give up, but Siakam is a monster and would fit the team. I am biased though as a fan of his game.
