Don’t really understand the banter anyways. They just beat the Miami Heat in the NBA finals. Not the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers didn’t tell the media to ask Mike Malone questions about the Lakers.
The Lakers didn’t even speak of the Nuggets in a negative light lol. Malone wants this to be a Memphis Grizzlies type of sonning, but it isn’t.

It’s damn sure not as serious as some are making it. For the most part the Nuggets and Lakers on all basis were pretty respectful. Even with the fans, it never got too overboard, unless I’m just blind from my perspective. Better than Memphis and GS for sure.
The Nuggets swept us and got a ring, they’ve earned the right to troll, and they haven’t been terrible about it. It’s on us to build a squad that can properly finish against them with hopefully a healthy Bron and AD being the difference.
I was comfortable cheering for them cause even with Malone sometimes being whiny, he goes to bat for his guys and his team plays beautiful ball. Plus MPJ is a Columbia, Missouri boy so I loved it for him.

Malone has earned the right to talk some trash. I do think it’s a bit low class to troll Lebron when you were an assistant he helped by his mere presence.
