The 2023 NBA Draft is fast approaching just right after Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets won the NBA championship after defeating the Miami Heat. Now, the offseason focus shifts to the prospects like Victor Wembanyama who will likely be drafted by the Spurs with the first overall pick. But another prospect who is considered the 2nd best in the draft is point guard Scoot Henderson. Teams like the Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail blazers could land Scoot. But other NBA teams could realistically trade up for him in the draft. Teams like the Pelicans and Timberwolves have been rumored to try and grab Scoot Henderson on top of the NBA draft.

Obviously, just like most 2023 NBA mock draft lists would tell you, other prospects like Brandon Miller, Amen Thomspon, Jarace Walker, Taylor Hendricks, and Cam Whitmore are solid prospects with star upside. But there’s a reason why Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson are considered the two best prospects from this draft class.
