They just be targeting someone I wonder who and what position they hope to get into. I bet with that package they’re hoping to get into the low 20s maybe?
I’d kind of believe this more than anything about deandre fucking ayton 😂 I can’t believe people in this sub actually want or think the Celtics are looking at him.
This makes sense to find someone for their front court.

I would be fine with trading PP even up for a similar depth piece at a different position, a 4 or 5. Then I would watch to see how far Bates drops in the draft. Kids do stupid things, but he’s got a ton of upside if the organization can unlock him.

This doesn’t make any sense unless he can get you into like the high teens. The new CBA makes late first round picks less valuable and high seconds more with guaranteed contracts and the minimal talent gap.
