Iām a huge pelicans fan but I am not optimistic smh. Our offseason was so typical for our history. We were cheap and traded away picks to undo mistakes. SVG was a good coach and developed Zions game the correct way which is to make him a point guard. Davonte graham is garbage Lonzo was a star. Ingram is prolly gonna walk too

No just no, the pelicans offense is clogged with guys that need the ball to be effective. Zion and JV gives the pelicans no spacing. The one thing the pelicans needed to get better at was defense and they somehow got worse. Theyāll be a team that competes with the Wolves and Kings for that last play-in spot. However in todayās western conference, if your team doesnāt have any playoff experience, then itās gonna be hard to even compete for a spot. Having a new coach and team will take time to adapt which you donāt have in the West. Itās either you come out the gates running or get left behind.
Jaxson Hayes and NAW will take huge leaps. Zion will finally have spacing they should've had last year.

Ppl keep talking about spacing around zion, but donāt realize, ingram is the one who needed the spacing the most, zion is already in the paint , ppl donāt realize ingram with enough spacing will be a avg damn near 30 if not tht . He had no spacing at all to operate in the paint .
This team is Damian lillard away from being special. The issue with this team is it has way too many average guards with limited upside.
The path for this team to actually be contenders is to trade BI nickel and maybe josh hart plus a future pick for dame. Then build around dame Zion Trey. This team then gets really scary if you can get a big free agent plus a future draft pick.
