I’ll be the guy who says it…
JTA would be filling the missing cheerleader role on the team, but would not be contributing on the court, and the Dubs sorely need guys who can contribute on the court more than they need a cheerleader.
This offseason needs to be focused on spots 6-10 on the roster, guys who can play in the playoffs, and less so on spots 11-16 for guys who will play on a gloomy January night in Chicago.

Great end of the bench guy and for our team chemistry. We need players like him to bring the locker room together since the vets will have their hands full playing big minutes and don’t have time to play the vet parental role. He knows our system/culture well and is loyal dubs fan. Bring him back Dunleavy

As long as we have a roster spot open i’m all for it. our bench vibes were terrible all year. it might sound stupid but i think that stuff matters for team morale.

I’d like to think JTA stops the splintering last year, and Dray doesn’t hit a teammate….but on the court, JTA is too inconsistent to take up a roster spot, and this team can’t carry bench guys that don’t get minutes and go cold to the point they’re dead weight.

We don’t need to waste a roster spot on a Kent Bazemore esque cheerleader. After this season you should realize that we can’t waste any roster spots.
