Otto Porter Jr. is a championship level contributor when he does play. Masai will want 6 first rounders in a trade for him so the Warriors should bring him back after they waive him since “no one wants him” per NBA Exec lol

Masai the type of dude, who’d rather keep his players and fight for the play-in than trade those players for valuable assets. Mfer really thinks Pascal and OG are the second coming of MJ and Pippen and is asking for 20 FRPs.

Would love to have him back on another prove it deal. Crazy how he’s back in the same spot again value wise

Rick Celebrini is a fucking magician for getting 63 games out of him my god

I may be alone here, but I don’t really want him back. Even with the constant load management he still missed a couple playoff games due to his foot issue. Now he’s coming off a season ending foot surgery. I just don’t like the risk.

The only risk having OPJ back on the minimum is he might get hurt and have Anthony Lamb take his minutes /s. Low risk high reward. Go for it if possible.

At the vert min., I’d take him in a heartbeat. Even if he’s outside the primary rotation, he’s a steadying presence and a guy who can contribute in limited minutes.

He could also potentially be a “throw-in” on a trade involving other players.

You can’t put toothpaste back in the tube. They need to move forward.

  8. taygads

Raptors, waive him you cowards so we can bring him back home.

Y’all remember when he cooked the suns around xmas time? Great memory

One thing the warriors need is continuity with bench once they finally click in the system. There’s value there even if it’s just stress of dealing with new personalities.

  11. McJumbos

he sacrificed everything to get that ring

  12. photocist

his worst decision was playing for nick nurse lmao

  13. derekmcfinn

Yeah Raps fans/media (Masai maybe too) likely think him, Boucher, Thad Young and Malachi Flynn should net them Simons, Sharpe and #3…Lol

Crazy how he just turned 30 but he has the injury history of someone in their 50s

    Otto is so underrated

He can do *everything*. Defend, dribble, pass, rebound, shoot 40%+ and has size at 6’9 like he was so crazy on a vet min

  16. leanlefty

Are Warriors even allowed to sign a player who has been waived, according to new CBA rules?

  17. Asleep_Holiday_1640

Otto should have stayed one more year. I don’t understand why he was aching to leave. Yes he was on a one-year veteran minimum.

  18. Sniffy4

W’s were short bigs on many occasions last year and could’ve used a healthy Otto
