  1. The nuggets still need to strengthen their bench starters playing to many minutes sign Brown keep the team together in copycat league they will be looking for someone like Nikola Jokic to play center for their team

  2. Id like to see us make a move for another big with our picks and our trade exemption from the Monte trade, i think either James Wiseman or Nic Claxton contract would fit into the $9.7 mil tpe

  3. If Jeff is brought back on a veteran minimum of $2.72 million as opposed to his current $4.5m that would give them some cap relief. But, potentially not enough if they have to replace Bruce Brown. It will be very difficult to find anybody good at the mid-level exception who can play backup point guard. I mean, Monte Morris is earning $9,8m. Decent point guards aren't cheap.

  4. Can't imagine we want to bring the band back as much as suggested here. I get it they are our championship family (and you never forget your first), Fast & Furious and all that, but we can't cross our fingers with our back of bench folks as much as we did last season where Vlatko turned out to be playable but more or less no one else was. Especially with keeping Gillespie who was also a blank roster spot. The way Malone plays things we need basically three playable 5 man sets out of our 18 roster spots. 10 play each night more or less and 3-5 various injury/rest replacements. We got 9 signed who I feel can be trusted to play minutes. I'd rather replace two of the older vets with ring chasers that can actually play a few minutes. Hopefully a couple of the 2 ways or our second round picks translate to 2 more playable roster spots. BB or his contract replacement being the last spot.

  5. next season will see every team try and give the Nuggets a smack in the mouth. After 82 games of dealing with that, how much will be left in the tank for the playoffs?

  6. Love you guys. Wish we would have got more on possible free agents. Also with the guys you had coming back we had 5 big guys already on the bench then the draft picks were mostly PF type guys. We were left with basically 0 gaurds

  7. I know Jeff is a great locker room presence, but I’m not sold on him coming back. He won his chip, will he be as motivated? His play was ok off the bench. DJ I’d rather see come back instead as a big man backup.

And sorry not sorry….I’m not sold on MPJ. I know what he’s done; I know he’s still young and his potential. But him disappearing offensively in the Finals I think was a bad sign. That’s not max contract. He’s almost the second highest player on the team. Add in his injury history….will he hold up? I just believe you could of gotten another starter in his spot for much less of a salary. Someone who’s better & more consistent on D, smart & can still score. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but you can’t tell me there weren’t better alternatives out there.

  8. Gotta keep Bruce. If we don't keep Bruce, we will not win another chip. We should trade MPJ, give Brown his spot, and use the cap savings to bring back Plumblee and add a backup PG.
