Zero control, baseballs are smaller than basketballs I guess

Am I crazy for assuming the media will read into this as some indictment of his mental makeup?

  3. To be fair, that’d be like trying to accurately throw a marble for any one of us.

A bit off topic but what MLB team do people in San Antonio usually root for?

  5. Lol he actually tried to throw it like a pitcher, no ceremonial loft for Himby

Bust confirmed. Moving Scoot to number one on my big board.

Thank god he’s not a baseball player

Is he going to wear 5 for the Spurs? That’s my favorite number and I would love to see him rock it.

Interestingly enough, seeing his hand gripping a baseball was freaky but pondering the coordination built over a childhood and young adulthood of training makes me wonder: How disgusting a slider and/or curve ball could he throw with those fingers?

My brother was a pitcher in college and pretty good too. He could not hit high enough on the gun, leaned into throwing a splitter when Roger Clemens was elite with the Astros, and borked his elbow. Then met a girl and quit rehabbing, etc, etc. My brother – probably the mailman’s kid anyway, had significantly longer fingers than me and could get much more snap and action on his pitches.

Clearly, Victor does not have the skills to play baseball and trying to learn at this stage would be a lost cause, but an ultra athletic freak with enormous hands like that, I wonder if training in baseball their whole lives, if they could get previously unseen action on their pitches with ridiculous body measurements and hand size. Like…what’s Kawhi’s slider look like…?

    Or maybe I’m drunk again.

He did it from the mound which is much more difficult than most first pitches

We can coach him to throw 90 feet. We just can’t coach anyone else to be 7’5” and quick. But he already has great basketball sense in the half court.

You can tell he ain’t never thrown one of them baseballs

Well, so much for following in Michael Jordan’s footsteps with a post-NBA career attempt at a MLB career.

It’s ok we’ll just send Im him down to the minors to convert to first base

Well, at least we know that he won’t be retiring after his first three championships to play baseball. lol
