Sources: Wizards, Celtics and Clippers are in strong talks on a trade that would send Kristaps Porzingis to Boston, Marcus Morris and draft compensation to Washington and Malcolm Brogdon to Los Angeles. Sides are still working through details and Porzingis’ $36M player option.

Ahhh. What a world would it be if there was no Lakers tax on trades.

  2. keepon18

Wizards just keep selling on the cheap smh

  3. nottherealstanlee

Would seemingly take Clippers out of the BS proposed Paul deal. Welcome to LAL i guess!

This means Clippers are out on CP3, which is smart. Brogdon is a better option trade wise. Improves CP3 chances of being waived/bought out.

I don’t think the Clippers need CP if they are getting Brogdon. Would seem to make us the favorites for him right?

  6. NotGonnaGetCaught

Man 2 players I really like for our team lmao

  7. hairyasscheeks_

That means no cp3 to the clips right?

  8. LAKESHOW03

Adding another inury prone player along with Kawhi & George. I’m not worried at all lmao. Compound that with the clippers curse I’m sleeping like a baby

crazy celtics would be able to keep both bigs

Wonder what this does for Boston’s starting lineup. I’d assume KP at the 4 and Williams at the five meaning Al goes to bench? That’s actually decent for them and allows a potentially stronger bench, useless they are planning on trading him.

Wish we could’ve got KP somehow, but I’d assume this means if bought out CP might be ours? Also interesting to see what happens with Russ now.

Porzingis is the only good player in this trade

    W for Celtics unfortunately

Lmao I told you guys it made no sense for the clippers or any other team to trade for cp3 who costs at least $25m guaranteed.

The cp3 trade chatter was fabricated by the wizards to get them something before they inevitably waive him to save money.

“But you guys got Rui for seconds”

Yeah a player that r/nba said was the fourth best power forward on the wizards.

Beal was dealt for nothing. KP will be dealt for seconds and r/nba will say good deal

No one wants to make deals with the Lakers huh 😔

  15. StoneColdAM

Every year the Clippers change their bench.

  16. HeaterWylin

How does everything get handed to them? Teams cut them the cheapest deals, it’s crazy.

Would we have to give up anything for Brogdon? If not then honestly would be a great signing. Brogdon is a good 3 point shooter, plays good defense, and is comfortable starting or coming off the bench.

This is a really good get for Boston – fuck them.

How are they able to afford him? Horford a UFA if I’m not mistaken but still.

This actually really sucks for us because it makes Boston amazing. This is an absolute criminally low cost to give up for a guy who had the season Porzingis just did; he was the most efficient scorer in post up situations even over Jokic last year, and still can space the floor and block shots.

Only giving up Brogdon for him is disgusting.
