Kristaps is a great pickup for the Celtics but now they're in need of another ball handler even moreso.

So Porzingis is a 7’3 guy who averages about 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks a game for his career. Most of that he was asked to be a #1 or #2 option. Now you’re taking that guy and telling him all you have to do is be the 3rd scoring option and get us 17-18 a game. And also you don’t have to be the defensive anchor either because we have Robert Williams. I think if he’s healthy the Celtics are now the favorites in the east. He’s a younger better version of a Brook Lopez. And it’s probably only a one year experiment because after 2024 it’s gonna be impossible to pay everybody

Celtics took their 3rd string PG and Galinari and made it into a center that can make them better defensively and even give them a post option once in a while which they didn't have at all. So yeah they won the trade by a wide margin
Wilbon is wrong. Porzee is a huge upgrade at center and another big who can stretch the floor. He can also defend at a high level and rebound. Great trade for the C’s getting rid of one of their 19 guards for a true 5.
Boston and clippers get better. Malcom is a better player than Morris and porzingus is better than brogdon
