Erik Spoelstra made the absolute right decision not to play Tyler Hero. Tyler hadn't played in 2 months and was still experiencing pain in his right hand. To allow him to play in what was a very physical game and possibly reinjure his hand would have been a terrible decision! Hats off to Coach Spoelstra!!!!!
The only disappointment is that Spo and Riley have allowed the easiest to defend offense to continue for years. For multiple years the good parts of the culture has gotten the Heat far, but the bad parts keep leading to failure and the need for miraculous saving from role players outside of the game plan. Get it together and get an offensive mind instead of Yes men no one else would hire.
The problem I have with Spo and the Heat is they wasted three days in Milwaukee after he got hurt! He should have been on a plane back to Miami and getting his surgery. Made no sense at the time and it showed they didn’t think it mattered because they knew they would not advance that far! Having said that, I am so proud of this team and the organization as a whole…!!!!
Wasn't Jimmy 2/13 with 4 minutes left? He was amazing all year but not sure what happened the past few games and didn't feel like superstar performance until the last two minutes. By then it was too late….
Bam building a hall of fame resume easily. One more finals run or even eastern conference finals and he basically guarantee his jersey will be retired and he will be a hall of famer. 1st ballot if he wins one or DPOY
Heat overachieved. They have nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes you just lose to the better opponent and you know there was nothing you could have done differently to win.
Shoulda played Duncan more, shoulda played Herro in Game 5, and should get on Butler for being so unreliable and playing so small, I think Butler is coddled a little too much, too much hype for what he brings, just dribbles to the key and tries to pass for a 3, then the 3 is missed, and he missed his chance at making a 2, so many missed easy points….
Dame to Heat. I'm not riding a hot take, I'm a Blazers fan that is sick of watching his prime being wasted. If they could build a team of of Jimmy, Bam and Dame.. that's a Humble Monster lurching towards a Finals champagne party.

Playing Herro would’ve shown panic and desperation. The mind game or mindset of upgrading him was unnecessary and a bad look.
