Loved this kid last season. I hope he has a great future with the Wizards. Kind of sad to see him go, he got drafted by the Warriors and he evolved in front of our eyes

  2. Peter510

I really wished we could’ve made it work but I guess the situation was worse than indicated. Best of luck to him in Washington

  3. park7911

I know the guy was heavily criticized last year, but 2022 was so much fun.

Unfortunately, his downfall here was quick

  4. frohawk24

Really wished it worked out. He just had a bad season. After the Draymond incident, he wasn’t the same yet Poole took all the heat from the fans. I wish him luck and hope he becomes great again.

  5. fatcatdandan

we don’t win without him in 22. Wishing him well, just don’t come back and drop 70 on the team.

  6. Mysterious-Yak196

Ngl I was one of the ones who wanted him traded too. But damn I thought they were going to stick with him but it looks like this team is done with the young guys. I’m going to miss him

  7. ArtfulLying

Karma whores out in full force. I don’t appreciate a damn thing from this bum. Robbed the team, pissed everyone, and never a gave a damn about winning after getting his money.

  8. mitchippoo

Thank you for one of your four years here Poole!

  9. untouchable765

Appreciate 22 season but damn he needs a lot of work after last year.

  10. brooksanddumb

Plenty of baddies interning on Capitol Hill, so JP will be in a good place.

  11. TheBadRighter

Remember dapping him up after the Mavs home win in the playoffs. Great dude, and will be a (and was) a great player. All his issues are mental. Hope being away from Draymond and having time this offseason gets him to his full potential. Big love #3

  12. Particular_Winner925

CP3 is washed, We don’t need a 38 year old wtf, dumbass move. Rather have Poole than CP who only does the same exact pull-up move in his entire career.

  13. Successful_Priority

Undisputedly helped us a lot for the last championship. Hope he reaches his ceiling and only loses to the Warriors.

  14. WeeklySavings

There’s been a lot of drama surrounding Jordan and some bad seasons and playoff performances. I recognize that but I also recognize how much he helped win the chip in 2022 and I’m forever grateful

  15. arsene_0

We don’t win the Championship in 2022 without him. I know his last season with us wasn’t great but part of me was hoping to see if he’d do better this season with us. Always grateful to him and wish him the best.

  16. CountDwarfKnock

Seems like everyone is forgetting that the new CBA is what made this contract so bad. Usually, the NBA rolls out rule changes years in the future, giving teams the appropriate time to adjust. The Poole for CP3 trade is what happens when the rules change too fast.

  17. matmortel

Damn went from the successor of Curry to having to give up picks to get rid of him, a year goes by so fast.

Draymond really punched him away from the team.

We’re about to be the most hated team by far with dray and cp3 lol

  18. Chidox27

We’ll never forget the 21/22 season gonna root for him always🫡

  19. allnewluke

His 2022 playoff run was so fun sad to see him gone

  20. Fallen029

We watched a guy go from not being able to make a bucket and having to go back to the g-league, all the way to being an NBA champion. Dude needs off this team badly — not everyone has to or needs to be a lifer. I dunno anything about the Wizards, but hope they’re a good org, that JP feels like he can have a fresh start, and that the game slows down for him again.

  21. awesomeness6000

Im only salty cause if they were just gonna trade Wiseman and Poole, they couldve packaged them for KD at the start of last year. If they gonna get an old dude, may as well be KD lol.

  22. Altruistic-Twist-379

Best of luck to you man, good run but still young too hope to see him grow to a better player.

man i hope FO know what the fuck the wanna do this season.

  23. shamusmclovin

I have no issue with offloading JP, but CP3 is ass.

  24. I had a feeling the sub was a bit quiet, but not like this. 😐

As much as Poole has been a regression the past season, he was integral in the 2022 championship run. A genuine second option in the team, and game after game – he found a way to score and contribute. I think lately, teams began to figure him out, and it’s majorly affected his mental.

A change of scenery will be nice for him though. Going to miss his surprisingly fast first step, and he’s never been the same after the Draymond punch. His attitude has deteriorated. I hold the Warriors FO somewhat liable for not really doing anything.

  25. borked-spork

    I appreciate that he’s gone.

    See ya, JP

  26. SwiftWindStrike

His performance in ‘22 was so much fun to watch, wish him the best moving forward

  27. WhenItsHalfPastFive

Great outcome for Poole. There was no way we keep him with that contract, we had to give up picks to get rid of the contract. But at least now, Poole will get to average 30 a game. Good luck to him

  28. imaginex20

Can we just shutdown Reddit subs again. This is horrible!

  29. boogonevilla

Bye bye Jordan. You made Steph Curry throw his mouthpiece out of frustration. That’s HoF idiot rt there

  30. ibra113

I wish him all the best. He will have the opportunity yo score a lot there.

  31. Creeping_behind_u

I just don’t know why poole never liked to play any D.

  32. bluegreenlichen32

💔💔💔, sad it had to be like this, but he’s free

  33. Imaginary-Point-9857

was extremely excited for our future with him…. wishing him success in washington i think he’s gonna kill it there

  34. Fit_Advisor_3746

All this trade says is the front office has declined over the years and hasn’t done its job correctly. Wiseman a bust, no management of Draymond’s attitude, not developing any big men other than Looney. What’s happened to all the picks we made during the years? Ezeli? Jones? McCaw? Then we finally hit on one let another players assault him and get away with it without letting him beat his ass back, and now refusing to develop the young players we ranked two seasons to get. Fuck Mike and fuck Bob too because both haven’t done shit since KD left.

  35. mintberryCRUUNCH

Jordan Poole played like who Monta Ellis thought Monta Ellis was.

Happy he helped out in 2022, but he’s not worth that contract into 2026

  36. gprime38

Remember how mad everyone was when we traded DLo for Wiggins? That’s what’s happening right now. Everyone is gonna love this trade in 5 months. Guarantee it.

  37. Fit_MedManiac

I’m going to miss him. I hope he has a great career moving forward

  38. Maybe I’ll tune into some Wizards games 😭, I’ll miss the eye candy and the splash parties! Thanks JP, wish you success and growth and maybe you you’ll come back one day?

  39. TahoeCollective69

Appreciation for what. Glad he is gone…it’s a celebration.

  40. PineappleBoss

Nah he fucked up the playoffs. Good riddance.

  41. Aintnostoppingusnow

He’s acted way more professional through all this than Draymond at his big age has. Dubs handled this so terribly and have already reaped the consequences. I hope Jordan balls out and surrounded by people who actually support him in Washington

  42. by_yes_i_mean_no

Thank you for significantly contributing to the championship run in 2021-2022. That Game 1 performance against Memphis was massive.

Poole got a championship, got paid, and is now going to a team where he’s the #1 option. He got everything he wanted, can’t feel bad for him.

  43. Eventhegoodnewsisbad

With starters minutes and a chip on his shoulder, i think he’ll be an all star by the time his contract expires. He’s just about to enter his prime. Just needs to level up his D and play a bit more in control. I will be rooting for him to get there.

  44. JawdenCee

I dont care what the haters have to say, I’m gonna miss Poole. Yeah he had his deficiencies, but he was gonna be our future and it got derailed. Dude played a huge role for out last ring. Poole with good vibes with the team was awesome to watch.

Good luck with your career young gun. I’ll miss ya, wish it couldve turned out differently.

  45. Herbetet

This is not the way I wanted him to leave us. I really thought he would get it right next season. Sad to see him go, sadder to have as his replacement “the flop and bitch about it” specialist.
