    To me, a social phychology historian, it feels like the slave auctions of the 1700s in New England. Same rich masters picking and buying their choice of strong, hard workers. Bought only to profit the owner. While the 'asset' has zero decision making power.
    I think the atheletes should have the decision making power to select their favorite team and to negotiate their contract. They should not have to grow up dreaming of being picked by some all powerful NBA team owner. It emasculates men. Just my opinion.
