Chris Paul traded to Warriors, Wizards receive Jordan Poole, draft picks in return | NBA | SPEAK



Another big splash happened across the league prior to the 2023 NBA Draft. The Washington Wizards are trading Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Jordan Poole, a 2030 first-round and 2027 second-round pick.     I like this trade. Green was the best assist man on the team and having a second great ball handler on the team so Green can focus on defense sounds dope. I just hope he can stay healthy

    Cp3 changes that team & Im not sure if it's for the better because he plays a slower pace of basketball. Slow pace has never been the way of GSW winning then ball movement has never been CP3 style he's a dribbble dribble dribble guy then last min past for assist

    PREDIction: Chris Paul gets traded from the WArriors for X. 😂 CP3 is a trade piece. They needed to get rid of Jordan's contract and get the money. Now they will get rid of CP3 at their leisure and in time they will find someone to replace CP3 before February 2024

    Adding CP3 is a step in the right direction for Warriors but they need legit big. Kuminga will develop faster playing with CP3 but he's 6'8. They need tough 7 footer – heck, add Robin Lopez

    Poole was hitting half court shots in the finals. he put us over the top. then had a down year facing adversity. we'll regret the weak return down the road

    It wasn’t just Poole that played bad during the playoffs Klay Thompson was basically shut out of the last 3 games versus the Lakers and he’s a HOF player. This move fills no needs for GSW and makes them an older unhealthier team. Chris Paul/Draymond doesn’t fit because Draymond give you no consistent shooting or scoring and a hole left by trading one of your best scorers on the team, while still being without a serviceable big who can score, defend, and rebound

    I understand why the warriors got rid of Jordan poole, but why get an aging and injury prone cp3 to their already aging roster. The man gets injured whenever his team needs him most, the playoffs.
