  1. Jett Howard has more upside than Dick with his shot creating ability which he can’t display to the fullest of his ability because he got injured

But passing on Cam Whitmore hurt man

  2. Hate to say it but Black and Fultz are redundant talent-wise, making Fultz expendable (eventually). Hope I’m wrong about this one, but I’m not sold on these picks

  3. I can get on board with Black, and we've got 4 good guards, so i dont really see the log jam. Harris is probably gone, so there isnt really an issue. The only issue is who has the ball in their hands but black and anthony can work together driving and creating. Black seems a better organiser for that second unit and a great back up for kelle.

Jett is a more difficult one and if dick or hawkins turn out to be better shooters from this draft then I'm going to start questioning their direction

  4. Very excited for the 2023-24 season.
As far as too many guards…
After the draft, Weltman and Mosley said their intention was to select two players that could be chameleons with positions on the floor with high IQ to help make plays. Sounds like Anthony Black and Jett Howard won’t be playing the guard position and I don’t believe we’re trading/selling Kelle, Cole or Suggs.
Knowing that Mosley always preaches “smart basketball” I think we’re becoming a team less concerned with three point shots and more focused on smart midrange plays with a taller, more tough to defend team.
Markelle took us from a 5-20 to 29-25 team as a primarily midrange player, we’re about to see more of that.
    I have faith. #MagicTogether

  5. Not totally agree with the picks (I'll replace Jett with Gradey in a heart beat), but I gonna trust the FO.

  6. i think anyone with eyes can see Our team becomes stagnant without markelle fultz as much as I love fultz he does not stay healthy so having a bigger floor general for insurance doesn't hurt cole is a 2 guard in a pg body suggs is still up in the air neither can run the team but black potentially can black allows cole to focus more on scoring in the second unit suggs then becomes a slasher and spot up shooter if they go that route and if black ever gets a 3 point shot we can put him at 2 in the 1st unit and we can keep markelle also competition is everything grab talent and let the best players win lastly they past ond gradey because nobody wanted to walk away with a black dick combo 🤣🤣

  7. Hello guys!!

Black and Howard have my full support!!

Black, best BBIQ in the draft.
Excellent defender and excellent basketball insticts.
    His shot will improve.
    He has the work ethic.

Howard, very good shooter who has excellent footwork and great range.
He offers also a little bit of playmaking.
As Weltman said Howard played injured the second half of the season.

I am looking forward to Summer League.

    Greetings from Germany!!!
    Go Magic!!!!

  8. To all fans who criticize the FO for the picks and are dissatisfied:
Take over the FO and do a better job.

    Or support another team.

  9. I thought about it a bit and remembered alot of trade rumours from other teams like the Bulls and Suns being interested in Fultz.
So my guess is they will ship Markelle for Black. Which makes sense, you get a similar player with no injury history to replace the other guy. I'd be sad because I love Markelle and he is great for the culture of this team but fit wise it makes the most sense. If Cole is gone thats also gonna be interesting, replacing a potential Sixth Man of the Year shoul bring in quite alot of assets.

I just hope Black becomes what everyone thinks he'll become. And if Cole or Markelle are gone at least we are gonna get a haul out of it. But just like everyone else i thought they'd answer those questions next off season and not this one, but if the juicy trade is there and you can replace 1 for 1 you gotta do it. #TrustWeltHam 💙🖤

(Also if Fultz went to the Bulls, who have significantly higher media coverage his reputation as a bust will fade, which would make me rather happy. I'd just be sad cause he couldnt win Chips with us and end up with 4+ rings compared to Tatums foreseeable 0 😎)

  10. Love the black pick. Let’s not forget how not having Fultz or Cole to start the year hurt us so much and we tend to be an injury prone team. Fultz is honestly the only true PG anyway Cole is a small SG in my opinion.

  11. I've not been up to speed with all the 2023 draft prospect except the top 3, so excuse me if i sound ignorant. I don't see our picks making the team any better. Black is just a bigger fultz and howard is just a lottery pick caleb houstan? I know trades is not as easy as making a package and making phone calls but no word of us trying to trade one if not both our picks? We need established players. No more high upside all potential player. We got the cap space anyway. Beal, jaylen brown, lavine. Scoring 2 guard, that's what we need.

  12. I actually feel more confident in our picks if Magic fans are “freaking out” after the draft. Touch wood, recent history has shown that things will pan out well if that’s the case.

  13. Anthony Black will be a legit starting PG te next coming years – but the 11th pick going for Howard… strange – Why not Gradey Dick? because of a starting backcourt titled "Black Suggs Dick"… I think Weltman didn't want to draw the confusion around it and the possibility of a wrong pronounciation… 😀No matter what in Welt and Mose we trust! Either way, I trust . Greetings from Belgium, Europe

  14. The fact that Black is so similar to Markelle is a great sign in my opinion. We know the FO love Markelle and basically everyone in the organisation talked about how significant it was for us getting Markelle back from injury last season.

We need that kind of playmaking and it's evident when Markelle's off the floor how lacking we are in that department. Black can be a great understudy to start and we'll see where both he and Markelle develop to.

I reckon that does mean Cole will be most likely to leave. We already know he sees himself as a starter and I just don't think we have that opportunity for him

  15. Can you confirm the news that Kai Sotto will play for Orlando Magic in Summer League??? if this news is true… expect your subscribers to increase😂 now it is 3.67K.. it would go up to 1M… mark this comment now…🤣🤣

  16. You guy called it yesterday on Anthony Black 👌
I like the move, puts fire under Kelle Suggs and Cole
And Jett was a solid pick at 11

    Let's go Magic

  17. Love the way you guys kept it positive even though you guys are hemorrhaging on the inside just like me. I was listening to the draft while I was working in Sydney Australia and I almost went home sick 🤢

  18. I think Black can run the second team as a floor general behind Fultz. Move Cole to SG on the second team. Jett Howard and Houstan off the bench at SF. I think they’re hoping Suggs may win the starting SG position by the trade deadline and move Harris. Also, flexibility when you have two point guards in Fultz and Anthony that are up for extensions. Also, Cole may want to move on to a new team to seek out a starting spot somewhere else in the league after this season. I think the Magic liked Howard’s playmaking and shot creation ability after seeing he, Dick, and Hawkins in pre-draft work outs. Don’t forget that Howard dealt with ankle injuries the second half of his rookie season. The Magic got to see him 100% healthy in work outs.
