  1. marcus smart is one of those players that if he was drafted to sacramento or utah instead of boston he would have none of the accolades he has and wouldn’t be regarded anywhere near what he is now.

  2. I hate this trade for us in Memphis. I know Marcus is a great defender, (although he did take a step down from his DPOY level of play this year) but the Grizzlies biggest need is improving their half-court offense that's been ranked in the bottom-10 the last few years, in large part because of a lack of 3-point shooting from the Brooks role, and the plan to fix that is to replacing Brook's 32% 3-pointer with Smart's 33% 3-pointer? And to make that move we're giving up a PG who averaged 16.4/8.1 on 50/41.5/77 splits in his 23 starts last year who makes $6 million less than Smart next year AND 2 FIRST round picks? Even if Smart's defense is good enough to make up for the downgrade on offense from Tyus to him, it's not enough to justify giving up multiple picks, especially since now we have another hole we need to fill

  3. We need Joe House’s take on all these Washington Wizards moves especially if they move Kuzma too ! Beal gone, Porzingis gone, CP3 trade then traded again for Poole… busy week for them lol 😂🏀

  4. 🤣🤣they can’t help but he Boston fans it could be a win for both teams or a major win for Boston… uhh could also be you traded away guy who bled green for a dude who’s had like one heathy season on a shit team. As well as being a locker room cancer 🤣🤣

  5. imaging getting rid of brooks and turn around and trade for brooks 2.0 – how stupid

  6. Marcus is going to let Ja know that all that fake gangster shit isn't going to fly at all. In any way.

He will fight Ja. He will physically make his point.

    Ja doesn't want Marcus smoke.

Grizzlies bout to be a menace next year after the first two months.

First two months will be the trial period where Marcus sets the tone. And probably beats Ja's ass at some point.

    Then it's on.

Celtics vs Grizzlies in the finals.

  7. It’s wild that Smart went from “He’s the heart and soul of that Boston team”… to he cant do this or that anymore… 🤔 would we hear this if he was still a Celtic

  8. Honestly T jones was a fantastic player for them. Kept them aflot during Ja's injuries. Smart's offensive game is limited and it will show without Jt and Jb around him to finish.

  9. Marcus Smart can step in and replace Dylan Brooks, who can step in and replace Draymond, who can step in and replace Hachimura, who can step in and replace Middleton who can step in to replace Harden who can go to Houston and fade away.

  10. I remember Smart used to own Porzingis defensively when Porzingis was with the Knicks.
Ironic they get traded for each other.

  11. Memphis acquiring Marcus Smart reminds me of Da Bulls acquiring Ben Wallace in 2006. The Grizzlies already have a bunch of gritty defensive players. They don’t need any more. They need more shooting and shot creation. Da Bulls were already the best defensive team in the league when they acquired Wallace. They needed more scoring and shot creation. Terrible trade for Memphis not to mention giving up NOT ONE BUT TWO first round picks. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

  12. Kevin O’Connor sounds like a man who’s trying to rationalize this trade from the Memphis Grizzlies’ perspective. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

  13. Marcus a lot like Bradley Beal…old and beat up at 29 with steadily declining skills.
Loved the Ben Coates analogy though…he was a stud!

  14. I was thinking they could get Kuzma and a bench player with the cap relief they created. Maybe 2 bench players if they feel like moving on from Barnes.

  15. Even if Smart is washed he can't hurt their team anymore than Dillon Bitch boy Brooks did. He's actually somewhat tough and has respect throughout the league. And he isn't a great offensive player but he's a better 3 pt guy than Brooks is.

  16. Is Smart not just a more mature Dillon Brooks, don't get the hype around ti for memphis could've kept dillon for no assets

  17. Can't believe we are talking about Smart. Dude is a bench player. Let's talk about someone important.
