Ju did say he thought he was ready for NY and to be a number 1 option, but he wasn’t. It was humbling he thought he was better than he was and then the film watching picked up and he won most improved.

If NY media ever recognizes that their own players are actually good we will get more high level players. Randle is a 2X All Star 2X All NBA player and gets treated like he is a bench player. This is the reason we have to overpay all our free agents. KnickfanTV rocks!

CP said it best you have to watch the entire interview. Randle was talking about watching film on his own. He also said everyone knows what Jokic is doing on the left side of the floor he is coming back to his right hand, but you can’t stop it because he has perfected getting angles on defenders

Alex hit it on the nose. They need to move the ball and get away from the ball dominant offense. After the celebration of the 73 championship team mid season. They moved the ball to the open player. They played well for a stretch of games. First sign of trouble they went back to hero ball. Until Thibs changes the offense so that whomever is open takes the shot. We won’t see any true growth. Grimes can not go a whole game with 2 shots a game. Randle should never play the whole 1st and 3rd quarters. Then come back in the 8 minutes point of the 4th. Play Obi more so Randle can play both ways. While Obi grow more. Thibs needs to yell at Randle when he is lazy in rotation and blocking out like he does when Obi makes those mistakes. I hope they get rid of Randle because he is a regular season dude! Good players who disappeared in playoffs.

I hate to say it but we missed our window when we signed D. Rose; Taj Gibson; Alec Burks; and Kemba to Multi-year contracts. Then extended Randle when he had another year on his contract. Hiring Thibs was a mistake since he and the executive mgmt were not on the same page. We would have had 2 seasons of development plus better draft picks. Leon had to trade away draft picks to undo his signings and caused us a third 1st RD pick last year. That's 3 lottery picks wasted. We need a difference maker. Our best player is a 2nd RD pick the whole league slept on. The mgmt and Thibs are both overrated. The next generation of stars are coming from the draft. No one can truly identify any all star that can be traded to the Knicks to put us in contention. We are screwed gentleman. Land of mediocrity. But as a Knicks fan I can be a natural pessimist.

Trade Randle
Only players I wanna see us go for are SG or SFs unless it’s porzing
Randle is his own worst enemy sometimes. His on court attitude and outbursts when he's frustrated gets in the way of his focus. He needs some Reiki and meditation work to stay zen on the floor. lol. Very hard to replicate his numbers and what he brings to the table skill-wise. If a trade to make the team better presents itself, pull the trigger. However, don't force a trade that doesn't significantly improve this team.

Beal's played 57, 60, 40, and 50 games over the last 4 years, so he's missed nearly 40% of games over that timespan. He'll be 30 this month and has already peaked physically. So glad we didn't sign him. Price tag would have been too high for someone who hasn't been able to stay on the floor consistently over the last 4 seasons.

Bro what? As an pro athlete, you need to be watching film. If julius watched film he would see the other defender crashing when does that iso post up(like alex said). Film isnt just a coach's responsibility
Trade Randall
Its tough as far as a Free Agent. But the core is VERY UNDERRATED. Coaching was our biggest problem against the Heat. Although the regular season doesn't mean much, it definitely amounts to something! The Knicks competed with and/or beat all the top teams that were left in the semi-finals in the east and west. I was confident against Boston, Philly, Bucs as well. We beat a fully healthy Nuggets team. Waxed Golden State. This team can compete if Thibs elevates his strategies or we get a coach who maximize the roster. Im not opposed to Levine but as KFTV stated at what cost??? Quickley and Grimes were HUGE for us whether starting or off the bench. RJ came along when it mattered. Im willing to part with Obi and maybe Rose but not much more. Also not having Jericho Sims in the playoffs kinda hurt us. Hes underrated and has great energy as well. I think we are ok running it back and possibly adding a cheap 3 and D player

The reason the chemistry between Julius and RJ is weird is cause RJ is inconsistent and his assist is SOOOOO low to none existent. Randle is the 2nd assist leader in the team behind Brunsen! And in some games Randle has had more assist than Brunsen. Meanwhile assist numbers with RJ in some case is NEGATIVE!

There shouldnt even be a debate about acquiring Lavine. It should (will obviously) be an emphatic no. Management aint stupid. I find it tragic we even bringing it up. Lavine jumps high and can score (in a league full of scorers) albeit he was the feature option on his team and chucks up a ton of shots which is why his numbers are inflated. Bottom line is he doesnt play a winning brand of basketball and he wont help move the needle. Soft as cheese, made of glass and makes us far worse defensively. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of money he makes….Last thing this team needs to do is make a dumb trade for a 1-dimensional 4th tier "star" who is on a horrible contract.

I dis not want Beal so glad that didn't happen and as far as Kat & Lavine…uh…dont want neither but if I had to choose one I would pick Lavine.
