I like Patrick Williams as a prospect but I’d want ayo dosunmu as well possibly
If he’s going to leave and this is one of the only deals we can get, it’s better than nothing. Patrick Williams is solid, but who knows if Lonzo is ever gonna play again. Don’t know what we’d do with that

Williams is solid. Lonzo is a lottery ticket. Likely won’t pan out but huge upside.

That’s $20 million down the drain next season [with a $21 million player option in 2024-2025](https://www.spotrac.com/nba/chicago-bulls/lonzo-ball-23597/) that he’s definitely going to pick up. Our roster would be a collection of forwards with with no point guard with this deal. Also, wouldn’t the Bulls be hard capped if this trade went through and they re-signed Vucevic and Coby White?
Not to mention the fact that Siakam and Poeltl made it clear that they don’t want to be on a rebuilding team so they’d want out if this trade went through. This trade isn’t happening and makes no sense on any level.
So we’re talkin a possible Dick and Ball duo?
Williams would be redundant for our team. But i’ll take it. He’s got potential. Reminds me of Gerald Wallace with less rebounding but better shooting.
Having him on the team would also make it easier to move on from Siakam should the right deal arise.

It’s not that easy to eat dead money like Lonzo’s contract anymore. Bulls would need to give up one or more firsts to dump Lonzo’s contract, even with Williams in the package.
Patrick Williams would be a fantastic piece to get considering FVV is a UFA.

Decent value for a S&T. Lonzo is likely to retire before his contract is up.
Lonzo’s contract would certainly suck but Williams is a dog. I feel like that might free up the team to move Boucher down the road, and if they are willing to eat the $$ for a year and then buy him out after next they are in an alright spot
