Man, talk about a legacy play in the context of the Blazers. Really hope however this plays out over the next 2 weeks to 2-3 years, Dame and the fanbase can feel okay with how things transpired. Absolute PR minefield for Cronin and the FO to walk through. Gotta imagine if they ran approval rating polls for GMs, that he’d be around 20% atm.
Whether Dame accepts the status quo or we part ways in the relatively near future, just hope beyond hope it’s amicable. I want to see retired Dame in the arena, on socials trolling Scoot, and enjoying his status with the team and the city.
